I can confirm, as Stephen Bloye explained at the meeting yesterday evening, that slip resistance testing has recently been completed to the resin bound gravel pathways to All Saints Park and surrounding areas.

This was done to provide reassurance that the surface has been installed in accordance with the specification, whilst the contractor still has liability for any defects. The testing confirmed the surface is as specified, has a low slip potential and is safe.

So from this winter MMU claim the park should remain open unless heavy bad weather happens

But the park is a PUBLIC OPEN SPACE that is Privately Managed  by MMU which differs from what has been said before. again
