Good morning everyone, this is the reply I have received today, Also, to give everyone a warning, the housing are on local community Facebook pages and have been keeping an eye and even going as far to reacting to peoples comments. Please be weary.

 Dear Ms Crosthwaite,

Thank you for your email, and please accept my apologies for the delayed response due to the festive holiday period.

As I acknowledged in my initial response on 22nd December, we recognise the strength of feeling expressed by residents of Garelochhead and the number of individuals who have signed the petition. I also confirmed that we were taking the situation very seriously.

Although I appreciate that it may be frustrating that I cannot provide more detail about individual cases or future plans, I can confirm that a review of the planned allocation was carried out prior to Christmas. The property remains empty, and we will now be reviewing applications on our waiting list for those who have requested Garelochhead as a preference.

While I understand the request for assurances about our allocation process and for greater transparency regarding risk assessment procedures, I must reiterate that we cannot share confidential information relating to any individual tenant. The same rights to privacy and confidentiality apply equally to you and to all other ACHA tenants, regardless of their circumstances or background.

ACHA relies on the risk assessment processes undertaken by our partner organisations to determine the appropriateness of sensitive allocations. Communities are not consulted prior to any allocations being made.

I hope that clarifies our final position on the concerns which you have highlighted on behalf of the wider community.
