On July 22nd 2026, news came out about FSG offering a minority investment stake. The primary group to receive this stake is currently the Mittal family (controllers of a billion-dollar steel industry). However, another name has come up amid the discussions: Jeff Bezos, the owner of the global online purchase-and-shipping powerhouse Amazon.

For the sake of what Liverpool FC stands for, Jeff Bezos's purchase and involvement in the club cannot be allowed to happen. He has a long history of repeatedly insulting his employees and implementing systems that encourages said employees to sabotage their own coworkers. Bezos has publicly supported Donald Trump's second term of presidency despite the LONG list of controversies involving the latter, and he has supported Amazon pitching facial recognition technology to the infamously brutal ICE. Having such a man involved in our club is not the Liverpool way.

For all of what FSG does in terms of being stingy with money, Bezos's sheet of violations render him completely unacceptable to even have a minority stake in the football club. Sign and share this petition to ensure that this will not happen.
