However, the proposal to install speed bumps, humps, cushions, and other so-called "traffic calming devices" threatens the very fabric of our community.

Our neighborhood's charm and historical significance are part of what makes it such a desirable place to live. We must protect this by preserving its original look and feel.

**Slowing of Emergency Vehicle Access**: Every second counts in an emergency, and impediments like speed bumps can delay emergency responders, putting lives at risk. The installation of these devices hinders the quick access needed by fire trucks, ambulances, and police vehicles to serve our community efficiently.
