Just to let you know, we will send this petition to Ofcom first, as well as the CMA.
We will give it a push this week via Change.org before we do, so please share while you can, it will then be closed.

Sky-ITV takeover: creating a ‘UK commercial streaming champion’
2 December 2025
"Pay-TV giant’s £1.6bn proposal to buy PSB’s (Public Service Broacaster) broadcast and streaming assets centres on reach, complementary content and windowing possibilities."
Seems like business-speak for "there are profits to be made here."
Plus Matthew Lynn at The Telegraph published: "US streaming giants are taking cash-strapped Britons for granted."
The same company aiming to buy ITV has some more expansion news this week in the website Seeking Alpha: "Comcast CEO (CMCSA) Brian Roberts is planning to join a second round of bidding for Warner Bros. Discovery next week [...]."
And finally, Jennifer Johnson at Reuters: "BBC funding options mostly require it to shrink."
You know what to do. Buy British, in as many aspects of our lives as we can.
This might be a useful resource, we have not heard of them before but they seem to an industry standard: https://www.madeinbritain.org/members
