I have been a loyal user of Studio One since version 2, and I can confidently say that it is the best digital audio workstation (DAW) out there. However, recent changes in their business model have left me and many others feeling frustrated. Presonus and Fender, the owners of this software, are increasingly focusing on exclusive subscriptions for add-ons rather than allowing regular purchases. This shift not only affects our wallets but also undermines the quality of our experience with the software.

In the past, owning their most expensive license meant having access to all features - a complete package that justified its cost. Now, however, even after purchasing this license we are not even able to pay additional fees for certain add-ons. This approach seems more like a corporate money-making scheme rather than an effort to enhance user experience.

We understand businesses need profits to thrive but not at the expense of customer satisfaction or by turning into greedy corporations. We miss the small musician friendly Presonus we once knew!

Therefore we urge Presonus and Fender: please reconsider your current strategy! Make your most expensive license all-inclusive again and make us feel valued as customers!
