We have formed a petition in support of Dr. Kevin Nordby and Dr. Stephanie Nordby in light of Lee University’s recent financial cutbacks. While we understand that funds must be redirected for financial stability, we would insist that both Nordbys would be excluded from any layoffs and would be able to continue working and teaching at Lee University full time. Both professors are more than qualified for the academic standards of this university and deserve the opportunity to continue being a light on this campus. Not only are they exemplary professors and highly involved members of faculty, but they also have changed the lives of every student they encounter on campus and are some the most compassionate reasons that people feel that this school is home. They embody the love of Christ and what Lee University should strive for. Let them stay.
