 Petition for Immediate Resignation Due to Loss of Legitimacy

We, the undersigned citizens of Kenya, are compelled to address you with great urgency and concern regarding your presidency. In light of the ongoing corruption cases, ineffective governance, and the alarming recent events surrounding the treatment of peaceful protesters, we believe that you have lost the legitimacy to govern our great nation.

As citizens, we have the right to express our grievances, particularly concerning the escalating cost of living that has severely impacted our daily lives. Your administration’s response to peaceful protests, including the authorization of violence against unarmed citizens, is not only unacceptable but a direct violation of our constitutional rights.

Furthermore, the multitude of unresolved corruption cases under your leadership raises significant doubts about your commitment to transparency and accountability. This has fostered an environment of mistrust and disillusionment among the Kenyan populace.

We call upon you to consider the following points:

1. **Respect for Human Rights:** Your administration's actions must reflect a commitment to upholding the rights of all Kenyans, including the right to protest peacefully.

2. **Accountability for Corruption:** The unresolved corruption allegations must be addressed transparently, and those found guilty must be held accountable, irrespective of their positions.

3. **Ineffective Governance:** The current state of your cabinet has proven to be ineffective in addressing the pressing issues facing our nation, including economic hardship, health care, and education.

In light of these concerns, we respectfully demand that you resign from your position as President of Kenya, effective immediately. This is not only in the best interest of our nation but also a necessary step towards restoring faith in our leadership and democratic institutions.

We urge you to listen to the voices of the people and take a step back for the greater good of the country.
