Called Dean Elmore today and spoke with a very nice individual (who I believe is his assistant?). I don't want overhype or underhype the update (or get anyone in trouble) but I will say this:

I was told that "Administration [Provost/Deans] has seen the petition and are willing to engage in conversation about it."

This does not mean they are going Pass/Fail yet but I am going to email them all the information about the petition with several Pass/Fail program options, and ask for a meeting. Please keep sharing this petition with everyone you know so we can get more BU supporters! Also, I check Reddit and Facebook constantly so please ask any questions there and I'll try to respond. (P.S. if you know any school that has switched to P/F please tell me)

Additionally, Georgetown University just went optional Pass/Fail (3 colleges now - https://georgetownvoice.com/2020/03/13/covid19/)
