The United States need for a National Child Abuser Registry

The United States need for a National Child Abuser Registry
The Issue
Every 10 seconds there is a report of child abuse in the United States. There needs to be a national child abuser registry. If they can have a national registry for missing persons, unclaimed bodies and Jane/John does the government should be able to help protect children also. Abusers should have to register just like a sex offender if convicted. There's parts of namus that's not available to the public that accessible by law enforcement and other agencies that work to close those cases. It should be the same for people found negligent of child abuse that haven't been convicted that law enforcement, school officials, social workers and necessary agencies have access to the non public information. People move around and I've already seen how moving parish to parish is hard for social workers to communicate with each other. State to state the communication is even worse. It would be easier to track abusers with a national abuse registry. If someone's not convicted of a crime against a child there's no way to find out because the abuser currently has the right to privacy. Abusers do not deserve to be sheltered. We have to make a change!
