The release and exoneration of my son and the exposure of a corrupt criminal system

The Issue

My son, Javohn Templeman was falsely charged and convicted of a violent sexual crime that the FACTS and truth of the matter prove he did NOT commit. There is a LONG history of these types of false convictions against (mostly) Black men. Decades of wrongful convictions or needless suffering by the falsely convicted and their loved ones go unnoticed and need to be IMMEDIATELY rectified and righted. The criminal justice system has harassed and abused people of color for far too long. My son's release and exoneration will not just bring PEACE to our family, but for the tens of thousands of individuals who have suffered in this broken system. WE NEED JUSTICE REFORM! Those responsible for such injustices, (police, prosecutors, compliant/cooperating defense attorneys, judges, willing participants to LIE, etc) need to be held accountable and responsible for the reprehensible acts they commit against INNOCENT citizens of this nation. I am just a mother concerned for her son's well being, but MY fight, is the fight of countless others. I will NOT stop my attack on this sickening system until, not only MY son is freed and exonerated, but all others who suffer the same plight receive the rightful JUSTICE they deserve.  The Constitution, the Bill of Rights , basic HUMAN rights, provide these simple protections, lets FINALLY put them in play and FIX this broken, unfair system. The United States of America is a self proclaimed "Greatest Nation", I ask we ALL work together to make that actually TRUE. One of many places to start is within the criminal justice system. (The US has the highest incarceration population in the world, there is nothing GREAT about that.)
