I served in the Army for 6 years and deployed to IRAQ once. I got hurt during deployment and was put in the WTU on Ft. Polk in Louisiana. There is continued serving, going to medical appointments and schooling; but while in the WTU,  my points from my correspondence courses were never add on time due to the HR department on base. When 2012 rolled over all the points they did not add no longer counted. So those points not added took earned SGT ranked away before it was pinned. Even though my ENTIRE chain of command and the base 2 Star General told the home of records HR to fix it and retro pay me, they denied it, even with the thick packet of proof sent to them. When getting out, I called the civilian who denied it and he simply said he never sent it up to the SGM because he did not see any reason too and admitted to not even looking at the proof, just simply denied it. I want what I've earned, any Soldier will agree, we work damn hard for our rank and pay. Wearing SGT rank is not to be taken lightly. I just would like for our government to take responsibility and take care of this Disabled Veteran, I can't even work now and all I want to do is help other Veterans with the back paid money. Please help me.
