According to my research, the most negative impact on these creatures is the offshore oil and gas exploration that President Obama is soon to allow. According to IFAW (International Fund for Animal Welfare) it is to take place in the Atlantic Ocean off the United States East Coast or in the United States Arctic Ocean. It is believed that once a decision is made by the Government, it is hard for the people to make a change in the matter. As individuals that make up this country, we have a big say on the things that take place around us. My goal is to inform as many people as I can about the dangers offshore drilling has on right whales. Informing individuals will not only help the movement of oil drilling to stop, but it will also prove that we have a say in what takes place in our world.
