I want to include Shrek as a religion. I think it would include many people. Many people want Shrek as a religion, and I’m hoping to show that with this petition. Shrek is an amazing role model, and already has several followers, such as his many fan accounts and the people following those accounts. He also has several movies about him, meaning he is already important to people. Shrek’s movie has an 88% on Rotten Tomatoes. People absolutely love Shrek. This fan base started in 2009 and blew up in 2013 with a film called Shrek Is Love, Shrek Is Life, several other films like this were made since then. Shrek is well loved like the popular religious figure, Jesus Christ. Like Jesus, he has had several movies made about him, and most consider him their lord and savior. He has also done many good things like Jesus such as saving a princess from a marriage she didn’t want to be a part of and lots of other things that can be seen in his various films. I think if this was made a religion it would blow up immediately. All we need are the scripts from all of the Shrek movies put together in a bible like manor, and a sort of church in the shape of his house. Also, if we could put this on swamps around the world that would certainly help. With your help, we can make Shrek a religion.
