Release our Soldiers from Leavenworth

Release our Soldiers from Leavenworth

The Issue

In order to put the war in Afghanistan squarely behind us, and move forward as a nation in healing, we call for an unscheduled review of the convictions and sentences of those very few men who were sent to the United States Disciplinary Barracks at Fort Leavenworth for an action during combat in Afghanistan.

We ask the President to follow precedent set by Presidents Lincoln, Andrew Johnson, Theodore Roosevelt, Carter, and Trump, and celebrate the end of a long war by granting mercy to those who fought in that war, and bore the heaviest burdens in defense of our Republic.
