Release All Remaining Records On the Assassination of President John F. Kennedy

Dear President Trump,
Nearly 54 years ago, on November 22, 1963, your predecessor in office, the 35th President of the United States John Fitzgerald Kennedy, was brutally and publicly assassinated in front of his wife and many horrified witnesses as he rode through the streets of Dallas, Texas.
Subsequent government inquiries have never resolved the truth of who murdered President Kennedy to the satisfaction of the American people. For decades, public opinion polls have consistently shown that a supermajority of Americans do not believe the U.S. Government’s official conclusions that one individual, acting alone, committed the foul deed.
The American people’s overwhelming disbelief in what our government told us about the JFK assassination has only been compounded by excessive, often-inexplicable secrecy imposed by various agencies on crucial information and documents relevant to this indelible national tragedy.
After 54 years, there no longer remains any valid justification, based on the original stated purposes, for withholding from the American people the small few documents still classified and held secret in our National Archives. The American people deserve to see what OUR government knows about this crime.
You have the power to bring final and full transparency to the official record of the murder of our 35th president.
WE PETITION YOU TO TAKE WHATEVER ACTION OR INACTION IS NECESSARY TO ENSURE THAT THE REMAINING CLASSIFIED JFK ASSASSINATION DOCUMENTS HELD BY OUR NATIONAL ARCHIVES ARE FULLY AND FINALLY DISCLOSED TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.
