Afghanistan is in a looming humanitarian crisis! It is heart wrenching to see the current situation in Afghanistan. While most of us can't decide on whether we should dine in or takeout and how to please our cravings, people in Afghanistan are committing suicide because they are unable to feed their families.

After the chaotic withdrawal of the US army from Afghanistan, the situation in Afghanistan became worse and the one who suffered the most as always are the poor who already struggled to put one meal a day on the table . Millions of people who lost their jobs once the government fell, lost their means of income as well. Tens of thousands of poor workers who had not been paid by even the previous government are in even more devastating situation as their struggle to provide for their family increased. The United States have put sanctions on Afghanistan and put a freeze on billions in Afghan gold and investments and foreign currency reserves parked in the United States. If funds are not released, each passing day could lead to a collapse in Afghan economy and many innocent lives lost. We urgently demand and call on Biden Administration to release Afghan funds, unfreeze all Afghan assets and save millions of lives by helping ease their struggles!
