Nominate Anita Hill for the Supreme Court

The Issue

People need Restorative Justice.

A few hours after President Joe Biden was rude to a Fox shill, he called to apologize.

But in 30 years, President Biden has never once apologized to Professor Anita Hill. Not for stopping senators vile attempts to demean with questions; and worse. For shutting down the hearings — so the additional women who present, ready, and able to substantiate Hill’s claims against Clarence Thomas, could speak. It was a cold, political slap in the face to Professor Hill. It also demonstrated all women will continue to be shut down.  I expect misogynists to chime in with false claims Professor Hill might experience facing him “at work.” Two things about that. One, she has experience in that area, and two, not a problem, Thomas might just revert to silence, mirroring his prior decades on the court before suddenly getting chatty.

After the most recent display of misogyny demonstrated by Chief Justice John Roberts, who didn’t merely interrupt Associate Justice Sonia Sotomayer, the most, (although he did that), although Sotomayer had only one of the longest of 14 questioning periods.

Chief Justice John Roberts reframed her questions to his liking — and it didn’t end there.

Roberts likewise never once berated attorneys arguing their case who interrupted Justice Sotomayer.  (Note to companies looking for counsel. Never hire anyone who does this).

That long ago slap to Professor Hill ultimately led to — women now having fewer rights than they did 40 years ago.

Thus, the pressing, immediate need for Restorative Justice.
Few people have, or seize the opportunity to correct their longtime wrongs.

The only correct Supreme Court nominee is Professor Anita Hill.

Nominating Professor Anita Hill is a small, but mighty step towards Restorative Justice.

Please help President Biden make the correct decision to nominate Professor Anita Hill to our Supreme Court. Thank you.
