More Specialists and Funding for ADULTS with Cerebral Palsy

More Specialists and Funding for ADULTS with Cerebral Palsy
The Issue
Every March is designated as Cerebral Palsy Awareness month. Cerebral palsy Awareness Day was created on March 25th 2006. I blog. I write. I have a YouTube Channel with a speech to view targeted towards Awareness. Where is the Adult Funding? Where are the Adult Cerebral Palsy specialists?, as 17 million people globally and 100,000+ are diagnosed in the United States.
The Diagnosis has been changed from two years to six months of age. (Source: The Cerebral Palsy Foundation as of March 2021.) Please help the Cerebral Palsy community secure funding to access all advanced medical services per individual case and type of Cerebral Palsy with targeted annual budget planning and distribution of services.
I write to you as an adult with Cerebral Palsy who at the age of 32, has aged out of the pediatric medical system. Adults with Cerebral Palsy exist. The services for medical funding should also exist. Please consider placing your signature on this petition by March 31st. Adults like me need to be heard. 18 and over long term care services need medical evaluations and long term lifetime funding. Thank you to all who take the time to read,, share on platforms contribute, and most importantly sign this petition. Elizabeth Curry Philadelphia, PA USA
