I am the mother of an only child, I lost my child on May 22nd, 2021. He was killed instantly in a truck accident,  his truck that I bought for him. He did not have any formal driving education,  just the teachings of a nervous mom. He was 17 years old. 

Jessie lacked the skills necessary to be a safe, prudent driver. In Arkansas the state in which we live, students and parents have to pay for driver education.  My income at that was very limited,  so paying extra fees was not an option. 

In short I would like a mandatory law be put in place for all students entering highschool to take driver's education class at no charge to the students or parents. I do not want this to happen to another parent or child, due to lack of driving experience/education. I am a tax paying American. My son was Jessie.  I would like Jessie's Law to be realized, so my son's death will not be in vain.
