No-take zones are areas of sea where fishing is illegal. It allows the sea life to thrive & prevents the destruction of the ecosystem. These have been proven to work in Scotland, where there were almost no fish left around an island because of overfishing, then a no-take zone was established. The sea life is now thriving & doing much better than anyone could have expected. I propose each coastal US state be required to have 1 no-take zone, of at least 2.5 square kilometers.
