This is important to me, for the fact that I have a girlfriend in another country, and I want to file for a fiancee visa,so I can bring her here. Some of us, who meet a person over the internet,can't afford the costs to fly back and fourth between two countries. It's a little different affording the cost of flying one person here to be with you the rest of your life, than it is to have to buy 3 or 4 plane tickets. The way it is now, only people who are making more than most of us do, can afford that. It's not our fault that we fall in love with someone who lives in another country, just as it's not a choice for certain people to be gay. All I'm asking is that it's a little easier on us who have a legitimate long distantce relationship, to be with our loved ones, and using skype, or other forms of video chatting, to qualify as meeting in person, would really help that along.
