Do More to End the Ivory Trade

Do More to End the Ivory Trade
The Issue
Rangers each day lose their lives to poachers who believe they can make money off of this cruel lifestyle.
While most ivory smugglers are caught and brought to justice, others can sneak thousands of dollars worth of ivory. Nearly all of the 5 countries that produce and buy the most ivory are a part of the UN (United Nations). While the UN and the USA all have done work to protect the environment, they obviously haven't done enough if millions can be made by selling illegal products, as ivory,
So, who are the "5 countries" involved anyway?
According to a recent study, the three top providers of ivory are: Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania- 2 out of 3 of them a part of the UN, The top two buyers of ivory include China, and Thailand all a part of the UN. These 5 and more are involved in one of the biggest crime chains-the ivory trade.
Every week, an estimated 2 rangers die due to poachers' such behavior. Sign this petition to save the life of a ranger out there, and a whole lot of elephants.
