Coptic Orthodox Christians in NJ need their Christmas off, January 7th

The Issue

January 6th and 7th are Christmas Eve and Christmas Day for Coptic Orthodox Christian followers. Every year, students are forced to take this day off as a personal sick day from school which results in them unfairly losing school time because of a religious observance. It is unfair to have to choose between school or religion, especially when people of other faiths are granted holidays. We are asking for only January 7th off as that is one of the biggest holidays of the year for us. Every signature counts, please sign
