The LGBT community is lacking many rights, this petition is to help trans people get the right to participate in sport. I'm creating this petition trying to help reduce the discrimination and exclusion that trans people face every day. I'm trying to get more rights for the Trans people and the LGBT community. I am trans and personally I'm not one for sports since I'm more of a book worm but it still is very unfair that those of us who are athletes can't participate unless they are hiding away their true selves. We can't be fully open about our gender otherwise we can't participate in normal activities like people who are cis. On top of not being allowed to participate in sports recently they have been trying to criminalize trans kids. Transgender Children are children that should be supported in school and sports instead of put in jail because of their gender. They are trying to equate being trans with crimes like drinking while driving, illegal drug usage, and even domestic violence.
