In order to stop the spread of Coronavirus in the United States, our response as a nation has to be swift and immediate. An adequate response will require that workplaces and schools across the country shut down temporarily to allow everyone the ability to self-quarantine and stop the spread of Covid-19 in our communities.

This will undoubtedly have a significant financial impact on working families across the country. An effective response to Covid-19 would result in billions of dollars in lost wages for millions of people in the United States.

For this reason, we are demanding that the U.S. Federal Government immediately pass an emergency stimulus package that provides every person in the United States at least $1,000. 

Passing this emergency stimulus package would help make it possible to guarantee that every person in the United States has the capability to stay home for at least two weeks, which would help prevent thousands of unnecessary deaths across the country.
