SAVE AUROVILLE FROM FAKE PROTESTS | SAVE INDIA | #FAKESOSAUROVILLE

As of late much false information, press releases, and motivated cries have led to the perception that the Government of India is destroying Auroville and harassing foreign nationals. This is completely false, not in the vision of Auroville and driven by deeper motives to benefit by the “Free for All” Lands. 

We request the Hon. President of India, Prime Minister of India, the Home Minister and The Chief Minister of Tamilnadu to go through the facts of these fake protests, continue clearance for the Crown Road, implement the gazetted Masterplan, and initiate criminal proceedings on the instigators of these fake protests. 

The facts of false petitions & fake news in the public domain (SOS Auroville):

The Masterplan was confirmed by the Resident Assembly in 1999 and in 2012 the same instigators had confirmed the Right of Way for laying the Crown Road. The Auroville Administration has been raising global donations for completion of the Masterplan, but it has been kept at a moot point for personal benefits. Many villagers have donated their lands for Auroville and the Masterplan in good faith.

The Secretary of Auroville has done a fantastic job to lay the foundations of the Mother’s Dream. She had duly notified the DSP of the volatile situation on the ground and the TDC has also given adequate notice to all. These rioters disrupted public officers from doing their duties. Housing and relocation has also been provided.

These few instigators have been keeping the Masterplan unconfirmed, leading to many unsolved encroachments, undue enrichment, and power being centralized in hands of a few. Having immense clout with the media, and criminal gangs in the area, these few have been harassing goodwill Aurovilians, threatening them to silence for decades. The main leaders have vested motives who are spread-heading this false protest. The newly appointed Governing Board has also promised free housing and planting over thousands of trees against the felling of few. 

No one was harmed, no force was exerted from the JCB or Government bodies and the state police. The violence ensued from the mobs of Aurovilians. 

The Resident Assembly is together for the completion of the Masterplan. We Aurovilians want freedom from the oppression and instigation by a few who control the media, livelihood, and life in Auroville, against the Masterplan as envisioned by the Mother. 

Our Republic cannot be shamed by a few miscreants who spread falsehood and fake news, stop public officers from doing their duties, condemn our public officers online, and think that they can quell law by media outcries. 

Our Nation must rise or it will be belittling the legacy of Sri Aurobindo & the Mother and letting down the respect of our Motherland. 

Our Prayers at the feet of the Honourable President of India, Prime Minister, Home Minister and The Chief Minister of Tamilnadu: 

1. To amend, pass, introduce laws or ordinances to give full authority to lay the Crown Road & complete the Masterplan without any delays, irrespective of any injunction, decree, or any other order in any which way whatsoever, that stops the Government from acquiring its lands from encroachers.
2. Initiate criminal proceedings on the instigators. If Auroville is a surgical operation, these are the main viruses. 
3. Give effect to the Enquiry Committee report for the IPC sections mentioned therein. ENQUIRY COMMITTEE REPORT PENDING IN THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION The reasons cited in the report are coming true today seeing the activities of these fake protestors. The public & Aurovilians need a forensic audit on the activities of these media protests.
4. For years of complaints, no action has ensued against Aurovilians citing “Auroville is above law & state” If this is to be true, and to continue, kindly give these facilities to all citizens of India under Article 14 of the COI.
5. The Mother said “no private possession in Auroville”, and this should apply to not only foreign nationals but also Indians in Auroville.

The Mother has called Auroville “The City of Truth”.

And the motto of India is “Satyameva Jayate”—“Truth alone Triumphs”
