Declare killings, loot and forced exodus of Kashmiri Hindus in 1990s as 'Genocide'

The Issue

The GENOCIDE of 'minority' Hindus in Kashmir valley in India in 1990s was result of disastrous failure on part of the Govt of J&K and India to control religio-fascist forces demanding 'nizam-e-mustafa' in a democratic secular country.

The failure resulted in:

1) 2000+ Hindus killed

2) 400,000+ Hindus forced to flee to safety into other parts of India

3) 20,000+ Houses, factories, shops belonging to Hindus looted, destroyed, burnt

4) 500+ Hindu temples destroyed/desecrated

5) 50,000 kanals (6,000 acres) of land owned by Hindus/Temples encroached upon

6) Distress selling of Hindu-owned property at throwaway prices, circa @5% of market value

7) Complete eradication of last traces of Hindu culture from Kashmir valley

The 'ethnic cleansing' of Hindus from Kashmir was a 'genocide' which remains unresolved since the victims have not been given justice. Even Supreme Court of India turned a 'blind eye'  in 2017 and rejected the PIL petition for justice and rehabilitation of this community.

This petition seeks to demand that the 'killings, loot and forced migration of Kashmiri Hindus in 1990s be declared as a 'GENOCIDE' through a Presidential Order.
