A way to celebrate Diwali- symbolic of joy, happiness and lightning!! But this time no crackers.. seemingly not that great happy diwali 2017...

Small children crying for few crackers- a joy being taken away from them..

But this time no crackers.. seemingly not that great happy diwali 2017.

Having gone through various discussions- after knowing the fact that crackers contribute to only approx 4% of pollution in Delhi-NCR.

I wonder if it was right to focus on this 4% destroying the festivity happiness and not on the 96%.

It seems as if behind the reason for banning crackers, somewhere the intention was also to regulate the way a festival is celebrated and leaving behind many people unemployed all of a sudden!!

Impacting a larger section of the society- children, adults, parents, granparents.. helpless to fulfill that joy of kids..outcry of society.. and sudden attack on industry..

Are we really moving towards "Reducing unemployment", "Growth" and " Make in India"??

Festivals like diwali are part of societal DNA and such festivity gels the society. For society at large crackers are synonymous to diwali.

Its an urge if we can focus more practically on large solutions and stop being narrow minded and politically influenced..

When things can work in regulated manner, why to ban it completely.. a balanced way to save environment and celebrate festival!!
Salute to Democratic India!!!!
