On November 6th, President Obama won his reelection on the strength of immigrant and Latino voters, who turned out in historic numbers this election. The message is clear: now is the time to put an end to policies that have resulted in over one million deportations and shattered hundreds of thousands of families.

Family is a value that every American shares – it reaches across faith, across political parties and across races. We need immigration reform that ends the attack on this fundamental value by restoring family unity as a core principle in all aspects of our immigration law.

We demand a national, comprehensive solution that will keep families together and put 11 million new Americans on the road to citizenship.
