Thank you again for your support of this critical effort to help ensure access and equity for the COVID-19 vaccines. The second outbreak that India is facing is absolutely heartbreaking. I am lost for words when I listen to the news and hear what's going on.
I would really appreciate your help in taking another action to pressure our lawmakers and drugmakers to do the right thing. Can you take a minute to quickly personalize and send this letter from the Action Network?
It's urging our elected officials or drug companies to do as follows:
- Make COVID-19 vaccines generic.
- Share a much higher percentage of produced vaccines with COVAX so that vaccines can go where they are needed most in an equitable fashion.
- Lobby the U.S. Government to support India and South Africa's proposal to the WTO (IP/C/W/669) to waive parts of Trade-Related Intellectual Property rights (TRIPs) so that the world could more effectively produce the COVID-19 Vaccines.

Also importantly, this is one fundraiser I came across that raises funds to support with relief efforts in India. Money can be tight for all sorts of reasons, but this is really worth donating too.
