After having our spring break taken away allowing for a mental health days would help to decrease levels of anxiety and stress of the John Carroll student and teacher population. Being in a hyflex model has allowed for teachers to give students extra work which takes time away to do other activities that are non school related to decrease stress. Adding in a few mental health days will allow for students to take a small break from the stress and pressure of school.
