In the last week, two separate threats have indicated a school shooting will occur on December 12, 2018, in Sierra Hall. Both threats were found in Sierra Hall, where one threat was found vandalized in a bathroom wall, and the second, a letter found in the hallway. The threats portrayed the same message of an attempt set on December 12 for a shooting.

Though this is a fragile situation during finals week, the safety of  CSUN students, faculty, must come first. Therefore, I ask you to sign this petition to have the campus closed on December 12, 2018, for the safety of everyone at CSUN
