Hello supporters, 

In a recent Town Hall meeting with SFU athletes and administration of SFU Athletics, it was reported that Simon Fraser University has undergone a name change process! A recommendation will be completed by the end of July and proposed to President Petter in August. After this, SFU will make a decision stating what they will do regarding the name change.

OUR NEXT STEP: Continue to apply pressure! 

Although this is great news, things can go either way in agreeance or disagreeing with the proposal. President Petter is the direct decision-maker in this name change proposal and it is vital that everyone sends these emails to Petter and Joy Johnson (emails are located in the petition description). Note: if help is needed that we have a google template to send in the petition description.
