Our plan is to throw down the gauntlet in NJ and take on President Biden, Governor Murphy and the Danish invaders from Orsted against the largest offshore industrial wind farm currently proposed in the United States.
One wind farm proposed for our #JerseyShore, "Ocean Wind," will dwarf the recently approved "Vineyard Wind” project by a factor of 2.4 times, with the largest turbines. And New Jersey has proposed more offshore wind facilities, with hundreds more turbines, to generate at least 3.5 gigawatts by 2030 and 7.5 gigawatts of power by 2035. This must be stopped!

2021 is a statewide election year in NJ with huge consequences for our environment, economy and future of the Jersey Shore and the Atlantic Coast. Time is of the essence because Governor Murphy is seeking re-election to carry out his Energy Master Plan. And this week the the New Jersey Senate Environment and Energy Committee has advanced a bill that would codify the state’s energy goals outlined under the 2019 Energy Master Plan. The measure, S-3667, includes goals of at least 330,000 light-duty electric vehicles registered in the state by 2025. Additionally, by 2025, at least 35% of the electricity used in the state should be produced by renewable sources, and by 2030, that number increases to at least half; it also mandates New Jersey’s offshore wind facilities generate at least 3.5 gigawatts by 2030 and 7.5 gigawatts of power by 2035. This must be stopped!
Up against Goliath: Orsted
For more than two years the Danish company Orsted has invaded New Jersey spending millions of dollars pushing corporate propaganda for their unprecedented ill advised industrial wind farm, while simultaneously unleashing their foreign agents to lobby and mislead elected and appointed officials across New Jersey. Orsted has also forced their corporate propaganda into our public schools, which is unacceptable. We are certain that you will agree with us that it is in the best interest of all Citizens and public school students of New Jersey to have a full, open and honest debate, encouraging alternative views and a range of information, to help Citizens determine whether to support or oppose President Biden's and Governor Murphy's radical and unprecedented proposal to irrevocably and negatively alter the environment, the economy and the future of the Jersey Shore and the Atlantic Coast.
