The Issue

At a pivotal moment, the Canadian Women of Colour Leadership Network (CWCLN) is working to safeguard vital programs that provide crucial support for Black and racialized women. Our collective action can make a significant difference in maintaining these essential services.

Our Current Challenges....

Black and racialized women in Canada face significant obstacles:
- Persistent systemic challenges limit access to comprehensive care
- Refugee women navigate complex resettlement experiences
- Survivors of gender-based violence require specialized support
- Mental health resources for marginalized communities need strengthening

The Vital Programs We're Protecting.....

CWCLN's programs are transformative lifelines that include:
- Virtual peer support networks
- Specialized mental health counseling
- Advocacy for Black Maternal Health and Reproductive Justice
- Financial empowerment workshops
- Refugee woman resettlement assistance
- Survivor support services
- Leadership development opportunities for women of colour
- Creative art and expression programs to support healing and empowerment
- Skill building workshops and opportunities to build resilience through collaboration

Our Community Goal: 2,500 Signatures to Sustain These Services

By signing this petition, you will:
- Support continued funding for impactful programs
- Amplify the voices of Black and racialized women
- Ensure the continuity of critical support systems
- Demonstrate community commitment to vulnerable members

The Impact of Your Support.....

Your involvement can help women access:
- Compassionate mental health resources
- Meaningful community connections
- Pathways to economic independence
- Protection and support services
- Leadership and personal growth opportunities

Understanding the Potential Consequences....

Without sustained support, we risk:
- Increased isolation for immigrant and refugee women
- Reduced mental health support for marginalized communities
- Diminished assistance for survivors
- Perpetuating systemic barriers to opportunity

Take Action: Your Signature Can Create Change

We need 2,500 signatures to generate meaningful momentum. This is more than a petition—it's a collective commitment to community support.

Act Now. Show Solidarity. Make a Difference. Share with your networks and help us get the word out!!

Together, we can ensure Black and racialized women and femmes have the resources, support, and opportunities they deserve.
