The Issue

I, like many others, rely heavily on the University of New Hampshire (UNH) pharmacy for my medication. The student discount they offer has been a lifeline for me, reducing my $300 monthly pill cost to just $80. This is not just about affordable healthcare; it's also about job security for our dedicated pharmacists who are now facing unemployment due to UNH's decision.

The university has decided that student health and wellbeing are no longer worth funding. As a result, local pharmacies such as Rite Aid will be overwhelmed with prescriptions leading to longer wait times. But what is more disheartening is the fact that loyal UNH employees are losing their jobs.

The closure of this pharmacy will have far-reaching effects on students' lives and their ability to access affordable medication. It also sends a worrying message about how much our university values our health and wellbeing.

We cannot let this happen without putting up a fight. I need your help to show UNH that we value our health, we value affordable healthcare, and we value the jobs of those who have served us tirelessly at the pharmacy.
