It is incredible that nearly two thousand members of BACP have signed this petition and yet after six months of pressing the governance for change we have been met by absolute silence!

The chair and governors have demonstrated by their refusal to engage in dialogue with the senior accredited members, an absolute disregard for our contribution, experience and opinions.

Like many senior colleagues I have now resigned from BACP and transitioned to NCPS, and also like many others already find the culture at NCPS to be member-led and far more responsive.

Within less than 24 hours of resigning I received a standard insincere, cut and paste, “sorry to see you go” response. Totally in line with the uncaring moral compass of those currently running the association.

Good luck to anyone who stays with BACP and congratulations to all those who decide to resign 👍
