The city wants to destroy the South Shore Community Center and replace it with a new fire station.

Keep the daycare in and return senior programs to the South Shore Community Center and preserve a building designed by the world renowned architect Morris Lapidus, whom Miami Beach named to its hall of fame in 2019 and created a historic district in his honor.
