The Port's latest survey closes tomorrow - let's make sure we all have taken it!

Hello Change-makers!

We are up to almost 3,500 signatures on this petition! This is a huge feat and a very significant number.

For perspective, the Port of Ridgefield's 2022 survey received approximately 1,500 responses — a survey the Port has referenced in shaping its current waterfront development proposal. Our petition has now more than doubled that number. That alone should send a powerful message: a significant number of people in this community want the Port to take another look at what is being proposed for our waterfront.

But right now we need take our petition signatures and translate that into survey feedback!

The Port rolled out their new survey this summer to collect more information — and THAT SURVEY CLOSES TOMORROW (Monday August 17th) AT 11:59 PM.

I know many people are thinking, "What's the point?"

But believe us when we say: THIS ISN'T OVER.

Contracts haven't been signed. Nothing is set in stone. And we need to continue overwhelming the Port with community feedback in every way available to us - especially through their own survey.

Yes, many of us believe the survey is biased and leading. Do your best to answer the questions in a way that reflects your opinion, and please utilize the comment fields to tell the Port exactly what you want to see at our waterfront.

Even if you're skeptical that it will make a difference, let's make it impossible to say the community didn't speak up.
