Canvassing Tuesday, July 21st - Meet at Davis Park!
Hello Changemakers!
First - we’ve recently heard that only 500 residents have taken the Ports current survey - if you have not done this yet, please do! Survey ends August 17th. This engagement is so important so they know the community wants to be a part of this conversation!
ALSO - We have a huge opportunity for involvement and we need your help!
There are many people in our community that still do not know about this recent development concept and the concerns around it. We need to continue to spread the word especially for those who have not been on social media.
We're hitting the streets next Tuesday, July 21st to canvas neighborhoods and we’ll be pairing up to knock on doors throughout our community to keep spreading the word about protecting the Ridgefield Waterfront.
Here's the plan:
📍 Meet at Davis Park, 5:00-5:30pm
Pick up your neighborhood assignment, map, tally sheet, and talking points.
🚪 Door-to-door canvassing, 5:30-6:30pm(no later than 8:00pm)
We'll pair you up, so no one will be going solo, and the talking points will have you covered! Just bring comfortable shoes and a friendly smile! Every door we knock on has the potential to bring more neighbors into the conversation about our waterfront.
