When I first heard about the intention of Martha’s Vineyard Hospital to remove the life-sized photographs of remarkable women from our community, I felt compelled to act. These images have resonated deeply with many who visit the radiology department, serving as a powerful reminder of the strength and independence that define the women of Martha's Vineyard. Each photograph represents not just an individual, but a collective history and a tribute to the integral role these women play in our lives and community.
