It seems that tennis players who don’t live in the Kendale Woods neighborhood have taken offense to the residents who have played pickleball here without issues for over 6 years. We’ve never had issues with tennis players before because this is a neighborhood court, and we have always worked together. Now, the tide seems to have shifted. The court date is set for Friday, and we’ll see what happens. It’s a disheartening turn of events with this shared space being taken over by a group that is unwilling to share. Like those of us who have played and those with live in this neighborhood have said from the start this isn’t a tennis vs pickleball battle although it seems that a certain group wants to turn it into one.
