A number of people have shared the latest news that Montgomery Public Schools are now offering varsity pickleball in their high schools. This game truly is for everyone—it's accessible, easy to learn, and, as our neighborhood has seen, it brings people together.  If you play in pickleball tournaments you already know to watch out for the young players- they'll demolish you without thinking twice about it : )

While we await the upcoming court date for Kendale Woods Park, it's great to see the community staying active and enjoying the sport.

As an aside, for the first time ever, I recently met the sole complainer about pickleball noise from our courts. Let's just say the source of complaints matters, and if I suddenly go missing, make sure to check their yard and basement.  We delivered flowers to their doorstep the day after our meeting because they could use all the kindness they can get!
