As a resident of Annandale, VA, I have seen first-hand how the pickleball courts at Kendale Woods Park bring our community together. People of all ages, backgrounds, and athletic abilities gather here to play, laugh, exercise and support each other. Our community has spoken - we want to keep these courts.

The park authority claims that neighbors are complaining about noise and lack of parking. However, these claims do not reflect the sentiments of our community.  The BCRC pool has stated that pickleball players can use their parking lot and the houses backing up to the courts say this is a valuable asset to our community and the noise isn't bothersome. The proximity of these courts to our homes, pool and park is irreplaceable.

Pickleball is more than just a game for us; it's an integral part of our community fabric.  We need more spaces where people can gather and connect.
