Come celebrate our wonderful community and America this 4th of July at Broyhill Crest Pool! It's a fantastic opportunity to meet Mason District Supervisor Andres Jimenez. Many of us have been wondering why he's been silent other than sending the exact same canned response to everyone who emailed him, an email that showed no real understanding of the situation happening at Kendale Woods Park. Supervisor Jimenez should be there around 1:00 to judge the bike parade.
Here are some simple questions Supervisor Jimenez can answer:
Why do the procedures for pickleball courts in residential areas not apply to Kendale Woods?
Why is it acceptable for the FCPA executive director to be affectionately referred to as "pickleball hater" by her colleagues?
If you're curious about the "pickleball hater" reference, you can hear Jai Cole introduced as such here: May 22nd FCPA meeting.
If you listen to Cole talk about the courts at Kendale Woods, you will notice that she conveniently leaves out the FCPA guidelines for established pickleball courts within 250 feet of a residence. She also provides misinformation about when the courts were established and omits the fact that these courts were relined after the FCPA established their pickleball guidelines and after receiving their sole complaint in 2022. She also states this is done deal and that was before any 'community meeting' was ever held.
Let's come together to celebrate our community and hold our officials accountable. We look forward to seeing you there!
