The Issue

My name is Zac, I'm 14yrs old and I've been a  Hull City supporter all my life. The ups and downs, the jubilant victories, and the heart-breaking defeats have all been part of this incredible journey. Now, with our recent promotion back to the Premier League, it feels more important than ever to honor the legacy that shaped our club's history.

One cherished part of our heritage lies in the stands of the old Anlaby Road ground, constructed in 1906. However, the declining state of these structures, now covered in overgrown weeds, brambles and graffiti poses a grave threat to their survival. Without intervention, this vital piece of our heritage risks fading into obscurity.

We propose that the Hull City Council allocate necessary funds and resources to safeguard this site for future generations. By doing so, we can transform these stands into a beacon of Hull's storied sporting past—creating a space that can be enjoyed by fans, historians, and visitors alike.

I urge everyone who shares a love for Hull City and appreciates the rich tapestry of our club's history to join me in this cause. Sign this petition, and let's ensure that the legacy of the old Anlaby Road ground continues to inspire us and future generations.
