The proposed development has been withdrawn by the developer after intervention by our Councilmember - Dr. Newbille, for which we profusely thank her. We believe a new proposal will be made for a much lower building which will conform to our Downtown Master Plan - and if so we will actively support it. This has been an 18 month struggle - thank you all for supporting us so magnificently, your votes and comments were instrumental in supporting our whole case of why this development was so wrong for Richmond.
