Heirloom Donuts is a new boutique donut and coffee shop coming to the Santa Rosa Beach area. They chose the area because its immense beauty and pride in their community. We decided on a mural because it felt like it “just fit” the space and wanted to invest into SRB more of what we believe the residents and visitors want to see- art and beauty.

We’ve found that, along with us, the community has responded so positively to the mural, beautifully visible on 98. They have a deep, emotional investment in the mural and it could potentially be a staple in the Santa Rosa Beach community.

It is more than just a painting to us; it represents the collective spirit of our county, embodies true beauty and art, and amplifies our commitment to nurturing the vibrant fabric of our community. The scenic corridor, a space cherished for its distinct aesthetic and cultural significance, is under threat. We need to act today.

Art is an integral part of any community's identity. It inspires, connects, and engages people, while enhancing the quality of life in myriad ways.

In Santa Rosa Beach, residents along the scenic corridor appreciate this value. They want to keep this mural as a testament to the power of art and expression. It stands as a beacon of creativity, encouraging residents and visitors alike to enjoy and contribute to our vibrant culture.

However, the mural's existence is under threat. It needs protection to ensure that the cultural vitality, local identity and character of Santa Rosa Beach continue to be celebrated and cherished.
