He earned his high school diploma from Walton High School and went on to complete a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Troy University. Glidewell has held several significant roles in Walton County, reflecting his commitment to public safety and community well-being. He serves as the Commissioner for District 2 at the Walton County Commission, where he works on policies and initiatives to benefit the local community. Prior to this role, he was the Corrections Director at the Walton County Department of Corrections within the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, demonstrating his expertise and leadership in correctional management.
